Science!

What a huge day! We started slow. W enjoyed a croissant breakfast.

Then we read and played for a while.

After that we were off to the Science Center! O loved the dinosaurs but W was not so certain that they were as safe as advertised so we headed off to the space area.

The three of us piloted a space ship with real buttons, nobs, tons of switches, lights, and sounds.

It was now time for the butterfly exhibit! WOW! What a hit! They were everywhere. You had to watch where you stepped because there were so many and some were even on the ground. We weren’t even there for two minutes before one landed on my mom’s arm.

When we finished with that wonderful 87 degree exhibit, it was time to hit the kids area. So many fun things to do. Water being the main attraction.

Lunch was quickly approaching so we had some food in the food court above the Children’s Museum before heading home.

When we got home it was time for naps. My parents then headed back to Portland. And when the boys woke up (super cranky today) the first thing O asked was “where’s grandma grandpa?” Poor guys miss them already.

We had a pretty laid back night that ended with a bath. The guys have new robes and O wore his. But W wanted to wear the purple one (Lisa’s). 🙂
